We offer a range of both traditional and contemporary style, durable oak benches all beautifully inscribed with your personalised message. Whatever the style, you can be assured of owning a timeless memorial to a loved one that will age gracefully and provide a lasting and loving tribute for many years to come.

All of our memorial benches are handmade to order by craftsmen in our Shropshire workshop. The benches are constructed using the traditional method of pegged mortise and tenon joints throughout. As all of our memorial seating is handmade to order, we are always happy to alter the sizes to suit our clients’ needs. Alternately we welcome the opportunity to produce one-off commissions in any style.

Our memorial benches combine robust vandal proof construction methods with simple well-proportioned lines that let the beauty of the timber shine through. Our products are designed to complement and enhance any rural or urban environment, be it a woodland or riverside setting a coastal path or an inner city park, your bench will sit gracefully, age beautifully and last a lifetime as memorial benches should.

All of our commemorative benches are made from premium quality English green oak sourced from local sustainable woodlands. This incredibly beautiful wood is sawn by our local mill, ensuring environmentally friendly benches with minimal carbon footprint.

Green oak is an exceptionally durable timber that needs no chemical treatments or preservatives making it maintenance free, therefore, it is the ideal material for a memorial bench. When the bench is placed outside it will naturally season and age gracefully to a beautiful silver colour.

We offer hand carved lettering for our memorial benches. Hand cut lettering is a beautiful addition to any bench. We are able to carve any style of font from simple Roman to a more free flowing text.

We feel that a few carefully chosen words or a verse helps to celebrate in words the life of the person you wish to commemorate.

Alternatively, we offer traditional 150mm x 50mm solid brass or stainless steel plaques. These are sunk below the surface of the bench and fixed in place with brass or stainless steel screws.
